Course Objectives The aim of the course is to equip students with the knowledge required to conceptualise, prototype and produce multimedia projects that are in par with the current industry standards. The student should to be able to apply methods and principles for multimedia design processes and concept development. The student must be able to apply methods to the design and development of interactive user interfaces and motion graphics for digital platforms.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • will be able to improve their design problem solving abilities in digital media in a particular time.
  • will be able to analyze the basic needs of a Multimedia Designers and how to apply them effectively in their education and after university.
  • will be able to decide on the creative thinking and how to transfer the ideas to applications.
  • will be able to design how to develop a project from the idea to final execution.
  • will be able to evaluate the importance of motion and interactive media and how to use basic animation and interactive techniques.
Course Description Throughout the course, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator programs will be used for interface design. Interactive graphics, animated graphics, and basic animations will be provided through Adobe After Effects and Adobe Flash software.
