Department of Visual Communication DesignVCD graduate Kayra Paköz joins the design team of World Cup
Suna Kayra Paköz, 2017 graduate of Izmir University of Economics Faculty of Fine Arts and Design Visual Communication Design Department, has managed to join the design team of 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Having passed through a series of interviews in 3 months, Paköz is going to work along the team on many visual projects concerning the tournament.
The international design team is responsible for a range of creative work that concerns the branding from the stadium to advertisements. Paköz, as a part of this team, will be designing the parts of the tournament that touches to the audience.
Paköz entered into the Visual Communication Design Department with a 50% scholarship in 2012, and graduated in 2017 as the top student in the department. Upon graduation, she gained professional experience by working in Denizli and Izmir. In the early 2020, she was invited to Qatar by the 2022 FIFA World Cup organisation committee. Paköz, daughter of an art teacher and an advertising agent, says that this journey will gain her experience and power.
